Brescello 21 June 2016 - Passing of the baton in the top management of Immergas, Italy's leading group in the manufacturing of condensing boilers designed for sustainability and energy saving: the founder Romano Amadei has passed the Chairman baton, which he had kept continuously from the time he created Immergas with Gianni Biacchi and Giuseppe Carra (in 1964) to his son Alfredo, 48, previously Deputy Chairman of the company. «I have accepted the appointment to Chairman and expressed my gratitude for the trust placed in me - commented Alfredo Amadei - I will do my utmost to ensure that Immergas continues to pursue its mission, which for over fifty years has been to produce home climate control systems geared to quality and innovation. This choice means that every day we are involved in an interaction with markets all over the world, which have always recognised in Immergas the reputation that our men and women have been able to build and consolidate. It is precisely on the value of the people who enable Immergas to grow that I will base my future decisions, keeping our focus on innovation, as we have done in these years. A part that I consider fundamental in accepting this new entrepreneurial and professional challenge, is the awareness that I can count on support from my father, who in addition to his activity in the Board of Directors of Immergas, will continue to serve as Chairman of the parent company Immerfin SpA. Together with the appointment of Alessandro Carra to Deputy Chairman, this is a concrete sign of our families' will to continue to invest in the development and competitiveness of Immergas».
Alessandro Carra was promoted from member of the Board of Directors to Deputy Chairman, while his brother Gionata will continue to serve on the Board.
The new Immergas management flow chart confirms Mirko Orlandini as Deputy Chairman responsible for human resources and Fulvio Martini, Managing Director in charge of administration and finance. The new Board of Immergas will continue to have as directors Pietro Alberici, Strategic Marketing, and Mauro Guareschi, Research and Development.
Before his appointment as Chairman, Alfredo Amadei, who joined Immergas in 1989, directly followed all the commercial and operating areas of what has become a multinational company with Italian capital. He also handled the entire phase of internationalisation, started in 1996 with the opening of the first branch in Poland, which has led the Immefin group controlling Immergas to cover the world market with 10 branches and 3 factories (Brescello, Poprad in Slovakia and Quazvin in Iran).
The Immerfin Group is a family owned multinational business that controls Immergas in Italy and Immergas Europe in Slovakia.
In 2015, it registered a turnover of € 235 million. The profitability margins back the investment plan in a stable way, which allows Immergas to maintain it high competitiveness. The overall number of staff is around 700, employed in the three plants of Brescello, Italy, Poprad, Slovakia and in Qazvin, Iran.
